RULES OF THE ROAD

General Requirements For All Tours:

The minimum age to drive is 15 ½ years with a valid learner’s permit.
Passengers must be at least 5 years of age or 50 pounds.
All drivers and passengers must sign a waiver.

Weight requirements:
All single ATV riders must be below 463 lbs.
All double ATV riders must be below 615 lbs. combined between both riders.

Box Canyon Tour:
Young drivers (15 ½ – 17 years) must have the release form signed by their legal parent or guardian.

Please note: These tours are NOT recommended for those with neck or back issues or pregnant women. See the notes about each location’s specific requirements

When visiting Sedona, it’s important to keep the weather in mind. The following tips will help you prepare for any weather conditions:

• Dress in layers during the winter months when temperatures can be quite cold.
• Gloves are available for purchase in advance if needed.
• Keep in mind that there is no storage on the ATVs, so please bring a backpack to carry any extra jackets or hats you may need.
• If weather conditions are not suitable for the tour, we will do our best to accommodate your request to reschedule or issue a gift card/credit for a future ride.

To ensure proper ATV operation on our tours, all Arizona ATV Tour guides provide a brief demonstration on how to operate the ATV prior to the tour. If a guest is unable to operate the ATV safely after the demonstration, the guide may recommend an alternative activity or suggest riding as a passenger with a qualified driver in their group. Our top priority is the enjoyment and well-being of all our guests.

A $500 per vehicle security deposit is required before the tour starts.

• The cardholder is responsible for any damages to the vehicles on their reservation, even if they were not the ones driving.
• Gratuities (tips) are not included in our tour prices, but our guides appreciate any tips you may offer for their expertise and outstanding service. (Typical range for tipping is 15-25% of the retail tour price.)
• For groups of 6 or more people (not including ATVs), we charge a 15% gratuity upfront before the tour begins

Looking for a more exclusive experience? Our private tours offer a personalized adventure for you and your group. Here’s what you need to know:

• Private tours require payment for a minimum of 6 people, plus a 15% gratuity.
• Private tours are not available during our busiest times, which include March/April, Sept/Oct, holiday weekends, and the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
• Contact us with any questions or to reserve your private tour today!

• To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the tour date.
• If cancelling within 48 hours of tour date, no refunds will be provided.
• We understand that things happen, so if you need to reschedule or make changes, we will do our best to accommodate your request depending on our availability.
• If you are unable to reschedule, we can issue a gift card/credit that can be used for a ride in the future.

Our guided ATV tours are available in both Sedona and Box Canyon, Florence. You’ll have the opportunity to explore scenic and adventurous off-road terrain with your group while our experienced guide leads the way. Here’s what you can expect:

• Fully automatic transmissions for stress-free driving
• No compartments for storage, so bring a backpack for any personal items you need, such as extra jackets, hats, sunscreen, and cameras, etc.
• Perfect for novice and experienced drivers, with trails that cater to everyone’s skill levels.
